Interesting and provocative

Tourist, historical, cultural and political guide. It contains multiple insights and the right level of detail to organise a trip through traditional and modern Iran. In addition to the travel guide, it presents the evolution of history, culture, art and society starting from the traditional and ending with the historical premises of present-day Iran. The final part is about Women's Revolution in Iran. The author, Iranian by birth, who has lived and integrated for decades in the western world, provides an interpretation of today's Iran which is irritating and dosed with provocative compared to the traditional western media narrative and which must be approached with an open and dialectic mind in order to appreciate it fully. After reading a few pages, I felt drawn into an enchanting journey and could only feel the desire to discover more. I followed my nose and kept turning the pages. Before I knew it, I was in magnificent and historical Persia, "visiting" all those places from 1001 nights fairy tales. All my senses were overtaken. The door was closed and I was trapped in this book. (from USA)

No matter where we are and what we do, we are in search of our identity and heritage. I, as an American of Persian descent (Ossetian), had a multitude of unanswered questions about the history, traditions, and people of Iran. This book satisfied my inquisitiveness about my heritage. This book expanded my knowledge about my ancestors and helped me understand why I am so drawn to Iran. It was my homeland many centuries ago. (USA)

I highly recommend this book "Persia 1001 Nights" because it allows you to walk through the history of the Persian Empire where these stories from 1001 Nights took place, it explains what we owe to this civilization. It also explains modern Iran and everything you need to know about this country and if you plan to visit Iran this book will help you to prepare for a romantic journey. (Swiss)

My Persian wife bought thist book, my wife and I visited Iran in 2019, I learned to love Iran in just two weeks. We have been able to experience Iran and visit many of the sights described in this book! It's a great country with great, open-hearted people in the hand of backward Mullahs!!!! I'm looking forward to finally going there again once the Covid situation allows.  (Austria)

My word! “Persia 1001 nights” is a must read book. I read this newly released book cover to cover as soon as it was in my possession. Being a descendant of Persia means having a variety of unanswered questions about the history, traditions, heritage. The Ultimate Guide to Iran satisfied my inquisitiveness about my heritage. It was my homeland many centuries ago. I highly recommend “Persia 1001 Nights The Ultimate Guide to Iran” as it will allow you to promenade through history of Persian Empire. (USA)

I have been reading your book "Persia 1001 Nights". It’s beautiful. Cannot tell you how much I love this book.

The Zoroastrian history you’ve included is unbelievable. The discoveries and innovations of Persians are amazing from Algorithms to encyclopedia of medicine. I’m also so glad that you have included Maryam Mirzakhani. So powerful to reference such an important milestone for women not only in the Middle East but worldwide.

You’ve also done a great job of covering the US sanctions and how it is hurting the most volnerable people of Iran. A great read and I will definitely be recommending it to friends and family. (Australia)
